Hi! I'm Eva. I'm an animator & motion designer. I've selected a range of projects for this portfolio, each showcasing variety of skills and designs. Enjoy!
Project 1: ITV Loose Women: Facing It Together

For a special episode for Women's International Women's Day 2024, I put together the look for Facing It Together, a campaign by Loose Women that helped raise awareness on domestic violence and what we can do to help tackle it. The photography (raw imagery by Yolanda Liou) was the pivotal centre point, so I was careful not to over-design. The final sleek, yet raw look was inspired by contact sheets from photography.
Final Deliverables included a full suite of graphics for the set (multiple sized video walls & plasmas for TDC), on screen graphics such as a custom dog, promo graphics for television and online promotions, and editing the photos for the show's graphics that were used throughout. At the end of the day, the focal point were the women's conversations and experiences, and it was a huge privilege to take the lead on the design for this project. The impact of this was huge - clicks on sites for domestic abuse charities increased by 81% the day of airing.
Project 2: Comply Advantage

A product video for Comply Advantage to be showcased at events. We wanted to push the idea of progress by juxtaposing sleek animation with stock and public domain footage. Inspired by Vox, we went for a documentary-esque style that invoked ideas of objectivity and truth.
Project 3: Ned.Bot

A set of animated stickers for Telegram and Whatsapp for The Institution of Engineers, Singapore, created to celebrate National Engineers Day 2021. The robot design's were created by Brenda Tan, and I was in charge of animating and ensuring that they were compatible for the sticker apps so users can share (Instagram, Telegram, Whatsapp and Messenger). Created using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
Project 4: Calling Ashleigh

A half animated, half live-action documentary short about a young person in Singapore and her struggle with mental health. After discussions with the director we went for child-like storybook aesthetic. Recognised by President Halimah Yacob, and recently won Bronze in the documentary category at the Crowbar Awards, a Singaporean youth award.
Project 5: STATELAND

A personal project that I started in the midst of Lockdown. STATELAND is a satirical experimental multi-media project that spans animated and printed media. Inspired by the signage that I was exposed to in Singapore (and later London), I took, reworked and reimagined the everyday design that surrounds us.
'Smile Like Nobody's Watching' was projected at 2022 Singapore Design Week's exhibition 'HAPPY HOUSE', and was later exhibited in the Singapore Pavilion at the Dubai Expo.
The project eventually grew into a collaborative magazine project, in which issues of the magazines were sold to raise money for causes such as Singapore Migrant Mutual Aid and Tottenham Fuel bank. Over 50 artists around the world have submitted work to the project to date.
Thank you!
